Tie-Dye Cupcakes

You know we only tell you about easy recipes... Well, here's how to make an easy tie-dye cupcake.  My daughter made these while I was out of town this weekend.  I must admit, they are very cute and tasty.  Below is an easy "in your back pocket-type" recipe.  (you know, the ones with visuals... from a great site,   Can you stay for Dinner.)

Step 1:
Make batter for favorite vanilla cupcakes. Divide batter into four bowls.

Step 2:
Tint each bowl w/a few drops of food coloring.  Incorporate the colors in as few "stirs" as possible, don't "overstir"...bad for texture- i read that somewhere.

Step 3:
Drop spoonfuls of each colored batter into cupcake liners until 3/4 full.

Step 4:
When all are filled- use toothpick to swirl batter a few times.  Use diff. toothpick for each one and don't over-swirl or they'll turn kind of brown.

Step 5:
Bake according to recipe!

Hers came out like this.

Thanks "Can You Stay For Dinner!"

Put some tie-dye rainbow cupcakes in your back pocket.
